IdeaTracker ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect data when you use the IdeaTracker mobile applications (iOS and Android) and website (collectively, the "Service").

2.1 Account Information

- Authentication identifiers from third-party login providers (e.g., Google, Apple)
- Basic account metadata required to provide the Service
We do not store passwords when using third-party authentication providers.
2.2 User-Generated Content
We store content you choose to create or upload, including:
- Workspace and folder names
- Ideas, notes, tags, priorities, statuses, and due dates
- Tasks, milestones, activities, and kanban boards
- Calendar information
- Whiteboards
- Custom fields (paid plans)
- Help and support tickets
- Exported content (CSV, text, PDF, Markdown)
2.3 Files & Attachments
Paid users may upload files and images, including photos taken with the device camera or selected from the device gallery.
- Cloud storage: Uploaded files may be stored securely in cloud storage to allow access across devices.
- Local storage: Users may choose to store files locally on their device; in this case, we store a reference only.
- Whiteboards: Whiteboard images are stored in the cloud and can be deleted by the user at any time.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, but users are responsible for the content they upload.
2.4 Notifications
We may send in-app notifications and device notifications. These can be managed or disabled through device or app settings.
2.5 Usage & Technical Data
We may collect limited technical data necessary to operate the Service, such as device type, app version, and platform (iOS, Android, web). Analytics and crash reporting services may be added in the future and will be reflected in updates to this policy.

Apple Platform Disclosure
- Authentication may use Apple's "Sign in with Apple" service.
- Payments and subscriptions made through Apple are processed and managed by Apple.
- Apple may collect device or usage information in accordance with Apple's privacy policies.
- IdeaTracker does not receive Apple ID passwords or private credentials.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
You control your data.
- You may delete content at any time within the app.
- A data management tool allows you to manage or clear cloud-stored data.
- When accounts are deleted, associated data is removed according to applicable retention requirements.
7. Your Rights

8. Children's Privacy
IdeaTracker is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.
9. GDPR (EEA & UK Users)

10. CCPA (California Residents)
